This space is where I’m choosing to show up as I am. Where I tell the truth about the parts of my life that broke me, and the parts God is still gently putting back together. I’m not here because I have all the answers. I’m not here because I’m “done” healing. I’m here because I’m in the middle of it — and God keeps meeting me here.
I’ve lived through things that forced me to start over, including my healing after domestic violence. But I’ve also learned that growth doesn’t only come from the big dramatic moments — it shows up in joy, heartbreak, change, faith, and in the quiet moments that make you stop and pay attention.
Here, you’ll find real stories from my life: the lessons, the healing, the questions, and the strength I’m still discovering along the way. Some posts will be deep and emotional. Others will be simple reflections or everyday thoughts that remind me how far I’ve come.
This is a space for honesty, vulnerability, and hope. A space where I give myself permission to grow. Where I remind myself, I’m not alone — and neither are you.
If God says He is doing a new thing, then I’m learning to look for it. In the small ways. In the quiet. Even now.
My hope is to offer encouragement and truth — to remind you that there’s strength in your story too.
So, wherever you are on your journey, I hope these words remind you that even in the hardest moments, you have the power to keep choosing hope over and over again.
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

Choosing where to seek support after experiencing domestic violence is one of the most important decisions a survivor can make. At Jen’s Hope House, we understand that healing is not just about escaping harm — it is about rebuilding identity, confidence, stability, and purpose.
Many organizations focus on emergency response. While crisis intervention is critical, survivors often struggle most after the immediate danger has passed. Jen’s Hope House specializes in after-care services, helping women transition from survival mode into stability, independence, and long-term success. We walk alongside survivors as they rebuild their lives — emotionally, financially, and socially.
Financial abuse is one of the most common — yet least discussed — forms of domestic violence. We provide financial literacy education and awareness around financial domestic violence so survivors can: Build healthy money habits Restore credit Create sustainable budgets Gain financial independence True freedom includes financial stability.
Every survivor’s journey is unique. We provide personalized, trauma-informed support that meets women where they are. Through therapy referrals, peer mentoring, healing circles, and community resource navigation, we ensure survivors feel heard, respected, and valued. Your story matters. Your pace matters. Your healing matters.
Isolation is one of the deepest wounds of abuse. Through Healing Circles and supportive programming, we cultivate a nurturing environment where survivors can: Share their stories safely Build meaningful connections Develop confidence Reclaim their voice Healing happens best in community.
There is power in shared experience. Our peer mentoring program connects survivors with others who understand the emotional and practical challenges of life after abuse. This creates safe, empowering relationships built on empathy, accountability, and hope. You are not alone here.
